Choose the job, then the step
Skuze currently offers 22 Automation step types. Combine the tasks your store needs; a workflow does not need to use every step or use AI for every action.
Research and product information
- Web Research: Gather bounded web context with source links. Set research depth, search limits and allowed or blocked domains, then pass the findings to later steps.
- AI Product Update: Write selected product titles and Description HTML with your instructions. Optional existing-option rewriting and exact option-group removal are also supported.
- Variant Options: Translate or rewrite existing option names and values, or remove exact unwanted groups, without rewriting the main product description.
- SEO Optimization: Update selected product SEO titles and meta descriptions separately from the visible product copy.
- AI Assign Collections / Tags: Use supported synchronized Shopify collection rules, an exact allowed tag list or fixed tags. Fixed tags do not require AI generation.
- Product Metafields: Fill up to ten supported existing product definitions using fixed, template or AI values. This does not create new definitions or support every complex field type.
Product images
- AI Image Enhancement: Create a separate result using one to four original product images as references. Keep it in Skuze, add it to Shopify or make it primary; retain the originals.
- Image Alt Text: Describe existing product images with AI analysis or a template. Target the main image or a bounded set and decide whether to overwrite existing descriptions.
Blog content
- Blog Ideas: Propose store or collection topics using context and previous titles where available. Reduce repeated subjects without assuming duplicate-free results.
- Generate Blog Article: Create a local draft from product, collection or topic context. Configure audience, language, tone, style and writing instructions.
- Blog SEO: Refine the latest draft’s search metadata and optional tags without rewriting its body.
- Blog Image: Generate a cover attached to the latest draft, with separate visual instructions and alt-text settings.
- Publish Blog Article: Create an article in a selected real Shopify blog as a draft, immediate publication or scheduled publication. Review requirements, SEO and generated-cover application are configurable.
Decisions and reusable values
- Condition: Continue only when a condition matches, or stop the current path when it matches. Use the supported typed values and operators.
- IF / ELSE: Choose one of two paths and rejoin the main flow. Nested branches are supported up to three levels.
- Set Variable: Create a reusable value from approved product or earlier-step values for the current execution path.
- Merge Branch Variable: Choose the first non-empty value from up to three custom variables, with a fallback after branches join.
Review, timing and notifications
- Review / Approval: Pause before the next step. Approve resumes that path; Reject ends it. Earlier Shopify writes remain made.
- Delay: Wait for configured minutes, hours or days and resume through the background worker. This is not a guaranteed exact-time service.
- In-app Notification: Create a message in Skuze using supported workflow values. It is not an outgoing email, SMS, Slack or webhook action.
Product publishing
- Set Product Active: Set the Shopify product status to ACTIVE without rewriting its other content. Active status and sales-channel publication are separate.
- Publish to Sales Channels: Publish to the Shopify publication IDs available to Skuze. Setting the product active first is enabled by default.
Choose compatible inputs
Scheduled content has no current product. Use research, compatible blog steps, variables, Condition, IF / ELSE, review, delay and notifications. A product-only action or an article that requires a current product does not fit that trigger.
Build, inspect and reuse
Start from a template or scratch. Reorder and duplicate steps, reuse supported configurations in another workflow and inspect version history. Copying a step with unavailable earlier-step or variable dependencies can be rejected; review the destination setup.
The prompt helper can suggest editable instructions. Where Copilot access is enabled, it can propose a new workflow or supported edits for explicit review before application. It does not give an AI unrestricted control of your store.
Understand usage and execution
AI generation, research and image work can use Skuze Credits, including during Test. Fixed tags, templates, conditions and publishing do not require AI generation. Credit estimates depend on the task and configuration, not a fixed price per product.
Test simulates Shopify writes. Run now can execute real writes from the saved draft. Scheduled runs use the published workflow. An approval controls later steps and does not roll back earlier changes.
