A new product arrives. Its description needs a clearer structure, search details need attention and the next article needs reliable product context. Doing each task separately means setting up the same work again.

Skuze Automations brings those instructions and next actions together. Choose the input, give each step a specific job and decide what should happen afterwards. The next eligible item can follow the same configured process.

It is a useful fit for Shopify merchants and content operators who can already describe the work they repeat. Start with one focused task, inspect the result and build from there. You can use a template or arrange your own steps in Studio.

Build around the job.

Choose from 22 step types for product information, images, blog content, research, decisions and publishing. A workflow can stay small: rewriting a description does not require an image step, and a tag rule does not always need AI.

Let the input guide the work.

Some products need a different path. Use a Condition to decide whether an item continues, or IF / ELSE to give different inputs their own actions. Pass approved product values and earlier step outputs forward so the next step has the context it needs.

Web Research can add outside context when a task calls for it. Set the scope, depth and search limits, then inspect the source links in the recorded run. The findings become input for later steps; you still decide which claims belong in the content.

Set Variable and Merge Branch Variable help carry useful values through the process. Add Review / Approval before an action that needs a person's decision, or an In-app Notification when someone should know what happened.

Choose eligible products that are new to the workflow or whose relevant content changed.
Use AI Product Update with your audience, language, tone and description structure.
Add SEO Optimization for the search title and meta description.
Inspect a Test before choosing a real run. If publishing should wait for a person, place Review / Approval before that publishing action.

This is a starting pattern, not a required template. You might add research for a specific topic, a condition for a product group or a separate image task. Keep each step's purpose clear enough that you can judge its result.

Product-content steps in a real run can write directly to Shopify. An approval later in the sequence holds the next actions; earlier writes remain made.

Choose your rhythm.

Run a saved draft manually when you want to inspect a change now. Publish a workflow version when it is ready for scheduled work. Choose hourly intervals, daily or selected-weekday schedules, with advanced controls such as timezone, quiet hours and an end condition.

Scheduled content can run without a current product, making it useful for a collection or topic-based blog routine. Product workflows use their supported trigger and selection rules. Execution depends on the queue and worker, so the schedule is a work plan rather than an instant-response guarantee.

Test simulates Shopify writes, while AI, research and image work can still run and use Skuze Credits. Use recorded output to refine the draft before applying the process more widely.

When a process needs attention, open its recorded run. Inspect step output, errors, waiting approvals and Credits instead of guessing which part needs to change. Review a failed step before choosing a retry.

Version history helps you improve the setup deliberately. Restore an earlier configuration as a draft, inspect it and publish it again when ready. A configuration restore changes the workflow definition; it does not reverse product changes already made in Shopify.

The prompt helper can propose editable instructions. Where Copilot access is enabled, you can also describe a workflow or a supported edit and review its proposal before applying it. Your configured steps remain the process that runs.

Questions before you build?

A few practical details help you choose a useful first workflow.

Do I need to use AI in every step?

No. Fixed tags, templates, conditions and publishing actions can have their own role without AI generation. Use AI where the task needs interpretation or content creation, and keep straightforward actions explicit.

Can I approve every change before it happens?

Place Review / Approval before the action you want to hold. Approving continues that path; rejecting ends it. Product writes made by earlier steps stay made. Test lets you inspect simulated Shopify writes before a real run.

Can I build a workflow without a product?

Yes. Scheduled content runs without a current product and supports compatible blog, research and control steps. Product-only actions need a product workflow. Read the step guide to choose compatible inputs.

Where should I begin?

Choose one recurring task and one product or content topic. Give the selected steps clear instructions, inspect a small Test and review the execution modes. Build your first workflow walks through the decisions.

Product selection and compatibility

Product selection uses supported eligibility checks and relevant content changes. Prices, inventory and arbitrary metafields are not a universal change trigger. Supported collection and topic-based content can use Scheduled content without a current product.

Reuse and execution boundaries

Copying a step to another workflow can be rejected when its earlier-step or custom-variable dependencies are unavailable there. Inspect destination settings. Queued work keeps its recorded version. Retries require reviewing earlier results and possible external effects.
